Mosquitoes
Central Texas mosquitoes breed in any standing water. Cutting the breeding spots does more than any repellent.

Signs to look for
Bites after time outside, especially at dusk and dawn.
Larvae wriggling in birdbaths, buckets, gutters or plant saucers.
Clouds of mosquitoes around shady, damp corners of the yard.
Why it matters
Mosquitoes can carry West Nile virus and other diseases, and they make yards unusable through the summer.
How to keep them out
Empty anything that holds water at least once a week.
Keep gutters clear and grass short.
Repair torn window and door screens.
How we treat them
We remove or treat breeding sites, then mist the shady resting spots in your yard every few weeks through the season.
